About this piece
An imperial two-tone mortise handle in bold colour-contrast finishes. Material: Zinc alloy. Available in Matte Black and Gold. A high-contrast Mortise Handles for dark-theme luxury interiors and statement bedroom door hardware.
A two-tone lever mortise set that trades on colour contrast rather than one quiet metal. Choose Matte Black, which is flat and non-reflective, or Gold, which reads warm and bright; the material is zinc alloy. Made for dark-theme luxury interiors, it does its best work on a bedroom or room door where a single-tone lever goes unnoticed and this one is meant to be seen. Skip it if you would rather the door hardware stayed quiet. Browse the full mortise handle range.
Size guide
CC (centre-to-centre) is the distance between the two screw holes. Replacing old handles? Measure hole to hole and match the CC below. New fronts? A handle looks best at about a third of the drawer's width — choose the CC closest to that. Length is the handle end to end; depth is how far it stands off the door.
| Drawer / door width | Suggested CC size |
| Up to 30 cm | Knob or 96–128mm |
| 30–45 cm | 128–160mm |
| 45–60 cm | 160–224mm |
| 60–90 cm (tall units) | 224–320mm |
| Wardrobe doors | 320mm and above, fitted vertically |

The craft
Each piece is finished by hand, so no two catch the light identically — the small variations are the signature of real handwork, not a defect. Metals are hand-polished before sealing; ceramic is glazed and fired piece by piece.
“Evening light moves across the room. The handle catches it first — soft glow over warm metal — and for a second the drawer front looks less like storage, more like furniture. That's the difference a considered handle makes.”
