About this piece
A classic ribbed oval knob with a tactile textured surface (Tirtikli = ribbed). Material: Aluminium. Available in Matte Gold, Matte Black, Matte Brushed Fume, and Matte Brushed Antique (Coffee). Size: 60mm length, 60mm width, 35mm depth. A versatile Aluminium Knob for transitional European kitchens and modular cabinet hardware.
Laos is a ribbed oval knob in the Makss European Series: Tirtikli means ribbed, and the ribbing gives the knob a tactile, textured surface. It measures 60mm by 60mm with a 35mm depth. That single small size reads best on drawer fronts, cupboard shutters and wardrobe doors rather than on a full-height door. Matte Gold gives a warm look, Matte Black a dark accent on pale shutters, Matte Brushed Fume a smoky, muted tone, and Matte Brushed Antique (Coffee) reads as a deep coffee brown. Pick it over a smooth round knob when transitional or modular kitchen fronts are plain and want texture instead of another colour. Laos sits in the VDH European collection.
Size guide
CC (centre-to-centre) is the distance between the two screw holes. Replacing old handles? Measure hole to hole and match the CC below. New fronts? A handle looks best at about a third of the drawer's width — choose the CC closest to that. Length is the handle end to end; depth is how far it stands off the door.
| Size (CC) | Length | Width |

The craft
Each piece is finished by hand, so no two catch the light identically — the small variations are the signature of real handwork, not a defect. Metals are hand-polished before sealing; ceramic is glazed and fired piece by piece.
“Evening light moves across the room. The handle catches it first — soft glow over warm metal — and for a second the drawer front looks less like storage, more like furniture. That's the difference a considered handle makes.”
