About this piece
A lion's head above an acanthus-wrapped grip, planted on a clawed foot.
Heavy casting, and it shows — the mane, the acanthus and the claw all hold their edges because the brass is solid rather than plated over a lighter core. Antique sinks into that detail and reads older; PVD gold keeps it bright and even.
Size 24" (610 mm). Sold per piece. Mounting hardware included, dispatched within 24 hours from Mumbai. Price includes GST.
From the Odyssey series, the Leonidas is ornament first: a lion's head at the crown, acanthus leaves wrapping the grip, and a clawed foot holding the base. One length only, 24 inches (610 mm), which puts it at the main door. Antique settles into the detail and reads older and warmer, while PVD Gold keeps the same relief bright and even. Pick it when the entrance of a flat or villa should be what a visitor notices first, and something plainer for the doors inside. More main door handles here.
Size guide
CC (centre-to-centre) is the distance between the two screw holes. Replacing old handles? Measure hole to hole and match the CC below. New fronts? A handle looks best at about a third of the drawer's width — choose the CC closest to that. Length is the handle end to end; depth is how far it stands off the door.
| Drawer / door width | Suggested CC size |
| Up to 30 cm | Knob or 96–128mm |
| 30–45 cm | 128–160mm |
| 45–60 cm | 160–224mm |
| 60–90 cm (tall units) | 224–320mm |
| Wardrobe doors | 320mm and above, fitted vertically |

The craft
Each piece is finished by hand, so no two catch the light identically — the small variations are the signature of real handwork, not a defect. Metals are hand-polished before sealing; ceramic is glazed and fired piece by piece.
“Evening light moves across the room. The handle catches it first — soft glow over warm metal — and for a second the drawer front looks less like storage, more like furniture. That's the difference a considered handle makes.”
